1999 Audi A8 4.2L Backup lights

Back up lights are on all the time with KOEO and KOER, goes off with key off.

This may seem like a simple problem, sticky/defective back up light switch maybe, not sure any problem is really simple on an A8 but anyway we have very little info on this circuit....
