1987 Volkswagen JETTA 1.8L Excessive Emissions, Poor Idle Quality, Surge, Stall, Poor Fuel Economy
This Jetta is running very rich and fouling spark plugs at idle and at cruise of about 2000/3000/RPM. Speedo does not work and vehicle has run fine in past. Black smoke is noticeable at idle. Air Cleaner is new also.
