
1998 Dodge Ram 3500 5.9L 5th Gear
Truck has what is best described as a "rear-end/ring and
pinion growling" type noise that is only present in 5th
gear. Noise is present constantly in 5th gear but loudest
around 40 - 45mph on light decel (just like a typical rear
end).
