Help Subaru Transmission Tec's This vehicle will shift from 2nd to 4th with any throttle pressure. Skips 3rd gear unless you shift manualy, then you can go to 3rd. On the down shift, at cruise speed the trans will down shift from 4th to 2nd using the throttle....
