In my case, I drive a 2011 Silverado 1500 5.3L. I use a high quality, DEXOS I licensed oil. I change my oil based on the oil monitor. I don't think I have ever done it before a 10,000 interval. I bought the truck with 5,000 miles on it, and now it has 175,000.... Login to read more.
