Patrick, I'd like to offer a suggestion.

Can you find the largest fan(shop floor fan 18 inches or bigger would be good) and put it directly in front of the radiator/condensor, let it blow for a few seconds, turn on the a/c and then check your pressure readin... Login to read more.
