Hey David. It is said R-134a requires XH-7 or XH-9. I've
seen backyard conversions with the original R-12 drier
working fine. Now R-22 in a R-12 system will distroy the
R-12 Desiccant. But as you know cars shouldn't have R-22 in
them.:o) ![]()
