Dennis, what Joseph said, plus keep in mind if the motor inside the regulator is bad it won't make any noise. They only make noise if the plastic gears strip. I've replaced quite a few of those on Town Cars, Grand Marq and Crown Vic's, and never a sensor, alth... Login to read more.
