Simon, I use a digital micron gauge. It reads 0 to 12,000 microns. The less the microns the lower the vacuum. 500 would be good on a car a/c system. It also reads PSI, millibars, inches of Hg, Pascals, Torr, and milliTorr. It's made by Supco. I got mine from J... Login to read more.
