Hi Gary, I know you directed this Q at Glenn, but I'm somewhat familiar with this scenario. The low speed radiator fan resistor was a weak link esp. back in the late-eighties/early-nineties (I replaced a bunch of these at the dealer). Ford has "beefed" them up... Login to read more.
