I would definitely keep it R12 if that were mine. I restored the system in my '86 Grand Marquis back in summer of '15. Managed to find every single component for it. Got the newer hoses with 2-3 o-rings for the spring lock fittings. MAN, this thing will FREEZE... Login to read more.
