When voltage drops to 11.8 or less at the clutch it will slip. A bad belt may have been letting the alternator slip and allow voltage to drop at the clutch. 45 seconds of slippage will raise clutch temp to approx. 475 degrees and around 500 the rubber melts. I... Login to read more. ![]()
