82 Lincoln Mark VI... Retrofit??

Hello cool crew!

Is a 1982 Lincoln Mark VI a good candidiate for retrofitting? It needs quite a bit of work; hoses, compressor, and evap core. Will it cool good with R134a or will it be marginal? Anyone tried this?
