Usually most sensors are mounted or inserted into the evap. coil. 1-4 degrees of low pressure gauge reading (keep in mind that pressure and temp. are relevant in AC systems). 38 PSIG should read about 40 degrees +/- on the sensor and that should be about right... Login to read more.
