Undiluted coolant has relatively poor heat transfer. It also has reduced freeze protection (compared to a 70/30 mix). Ford screwed up and used a 100% coolant instead of the required 50/50 mix at one of their Truck plants during the late 80's. The concentrated ... Login to read more.
