Mark the 8690 is a "Blue" light not a "UV". They do have a "UV" version of it the 8690UV. Be sure you get the one your after. I have the "Blue" 8690 and use the 8655 for true "UV". I have found the "Blue" to work better when looking for oil leaks and the "UV" ... Login to read more.
