Re: Keep R12 or convert to R134a
That has an R4 compressor, which I have read works best with R12. I have retrofitted these to R134a successfully, but for that car I would keep it R12. Speaking of compressors, check the case seals for leakage, and check/replace the rubber hoses, due to age. Login to read more. ![]()
