A vacuum pump does remove air, trapped refrigerant and moisture. Why else would you use one. A micron gauge will tell you if all moisture is removed. PAG oil will hold on to moisture longer then Mineral oil. A new drier/accumulator will trap what little moistu... Login to read more.
