Retrofit; Remove the compressor or not?
Our policy up to now has been to remove the compressor, drain what mineral oil in still in it, add ester (we use BG w/dye), replace the filter/dryer (adding oil to it also), label and charge. In talking to 3 other repair shops in my area, they tell me they hav... Login to read more. ![]()
