I HAVE BEEN USING freeze 12 now for about 2 years , and it work fine , just remove existing r12 , evacuate and recharge .you could replace the drier if old for good measure .add a little oil [ ester ??? ] .feed the freeze 12 slowly into suction side , it react... Login to read more.
