JJ: I'd call a TXV system with a flooded evaporator one that has a liquid vapor mix at the outlet, intsead of 100% vapor. The liquid would then vaporize and cool the suction line or go on to slug the compressor. Flooding can be caused by a TXV that is open too... Login to read more.
