Re: finding evaporator leaks
I've never trusted a sniffer reading at a vent with the blower on. Any air current will set it off. Refrigerant is heavier than air, with the blower off just put the sniffer under the drain tube. If you have dye at the tube you know it's leaking anyway. I've w... Login to read more. ![]()
