Lets take an average sized R-12 system, around 3 pounds. At my current prices for refrigerant, charging the system with R-134a as opposed to R-12 would save the customer less than 150 Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers. It would cost much more than that for the additi... Login to read more. ![]()
