Hi Hugh. It's all in how you hold your mouth! The plastic lowe evap housing is a very tight fit between the dash and the bulkhead toe pan. You have to rotate and twist the housing slightly. Yes, it is a tight fit but it can be done without breaking the plastic... Login to read more.
