Hi Al,

If that is factory a/c, the clutch relay is grounded by the ECM.I have seen many bad clutch relays;if the relay windings get shorted the excess current flow will cause the ECM to stop grounding the relay.1 amp is the limit for current flow,usually put... Login to read more.
