Purchased a Supco VG64 and deadheaded it to the vacuum pump. The VG64 indicated 29.9 inches. Solution to the mystery: two POS sets of gauges- analog Snap On and digital TIF. BTW, my old Uniweld analog set was right on the money. Login to read more.
