I agree. I had an '81 Buick Park Ave I bought from a customer with a no start diesel. I replaced the diesel with a 455 Olds with a few modifications like an Isky 260 cam & Lifters and an AFB Carb.

That tank got 18 mpg no matter how I drove it and ran mid 14'... Login to read more.
