Good point Peter. I don't see it much any more, but in the 70's and 80's one out of five Chevy/GMC pick-ups I'd come across were missing the shroud or at least half the shroud. I guess a broken motor mount would allow the fan to hit and then distroy the shroud... Login to read more.
