MB C220 no A/C

I have a 1996 Mercedes Benz C220 with no A/C oepration. I have a code 227, Outside tmeperature indicator tmeperature sensor (B14). Will this sensor cause the A/C not to work? Where is this sensor located and is there a way to test this. thanks Login to read more.
