John, I've seen R-12/R-134a combinations last longer then 1/2 a$$ R-134a conversions. Last year alone I replaced 10 compressors on R-12 cars that were converted to R-134a by dealers, independent shops and back yard bobs. Some last a few months. Some ne... Login to read more.
