I've had a few late model Chev/GMC PU's with broken compressor belts. The replacement belts seem to last about 2,000 [...] so. I researched this on the IATN 'fix' data base and found most thought it was caused by liquid refrigerant or oil slugging upon clutch ... Login to read more.
