George, I quit using aftermarket expansion valves many, many years ago. When I'd replace an expansion valve, I'd do so because I "KNEW" it was bad by reading the gauges etc. When the "NEW" aftermarket valve did the same thing or worst, I again "KNEW" the valve... Login to read more.
