Dan,

Look under "Spike Suppression Diode" in this link:

Look under "Clamping Diode" in these links:

[...] m [[...]]

[...] nterms=1&search=1 [[...]]

These type Spike or Clamping Diodes are not always found at the compressor clutch... Login to read more.
