David, Your on the right track. Replace the compressor with a "NEW" one. The price difference is very little over a rebuilt. Be sure the condercer is an OEM type. Those copper tube jobs don't remove as much heat as the OEM. OEM or aftermarket hoses are cheap f... Login to read more.
