Hi Ted, I did a lot of FoMoCo A/C "re-o-ring" jobs in the '90's. Off with the black, on with the green. My understanding of Ford's black to green conversion is the black o-rings were undersized for the application. Green o-rings are thicker thus seal better. A... Login to read more.
