Robert I think your blaming the wrong part. Metal from the compressor doesn't get to the accumulator. It's the other way around. The desiccant bag usually ruptures and the desiccant distroys the compressor. Metal or teflon from the compressor usually clogs up ... Login to read more. ![]()
