Funny, that's not what I learned in chemistry. Books loooooong gone. But I was told to consider dessicant as a dry sponge, with the extraordinary ability to "attract" moisture(humidity) from the surrounding air, almost magnetic in its attraction.. It just suck... Login to read more.
