Alan, Modines (Air Pro) number 50154 evaporator fits 1996 to 2001 Taurus. It's an OEM type (same as Motorcraft - may be Motorcraft) evaporator not one of those copper tube jobs. YK-154 is Motorcrafts number. I've replaced quite a few without a problem.
