Russ, I'm definitely not an AC expert but I've heard using a variable orifice tube on these retro-fits are the way to go, available aftermarket. Also I've read if it had an Fx-15 compressor you may need to change to an FS-10 as it is more suited for R-134 appl... Login to read more.
