Hi Andy, I'd dump the aluminum in favor of steel, steel will hold up a heck of a lot better for the long haul. Also don't paint the work surface of the benches, instead sand the surface smooth and then soak with a penetrating oil like WD40 or the like and hand... Login to read more.
