Phil I have always used the 17 pin on the 4 cylinder and and you can get data from engine and abs if the DLC is grey in colour. some abs are just pulse codes. if you have a V6 then I found that the 17pinDLC dose not doo engine but dose abs and their is a 16 pi... Login to read more.
