When I replace the inner diff seals, I have an assistant hold a 3/4 drive socket against the seal and run a 3/4 to 1/2 adapter and long extension out the opposite end of the housing. Then I "push" it in with a hammer. Been doing it that way for a long time wit... Login to read more.
