I'm lost here.

Why do I need a tool that plugs into the DLC to "reset" a TPMS system? If I do, what cars/trucks do I need it for?

Maybe it's purpose is to circumvent the "button-dance" that we do to put cars in "relearn mode"???? I dunno.
