A trick i use on delicate electrical connections is, i use a battery operated staedtler 527 02BK electric eraser...its works great! Doesn't tear up sensitive contacts and cleans real well. just a touch in baking soda as a abrasive = easy clean up with alcohol ... Login to read more.
