just did a 85 2500 chevy truck frt drive shaft today. I welded 3/8 nuts to the caps and then mounted the compound u joint assembly in the vise. attached a 10 lb slugger slide hammer with a 3/8 bolt to pull the caps off. I believe this does the job without any ... Login to read more.
