Michael, Not sure where you got your information, but I can assure you that J2534-1 or -2 tools can reprogram GM's just fine. Quite a while back now, GM did miss putting a ton of VIN numbers onto some of their TIS CD/DVD's. The remedy for this was to simply us... Login to read more.
