Re: diagnosing a timing light
If you check accross the leads on the bulb you should get 450-600 volts dc. If you touch this you will get a nasty surprise. You can usually excite the bulb and get it to flash by holding it near a spak plug wire. However 90% of the timing lights I ever repair... Login to read more. ![]()
