Like you I am also leery of the 1/4" impact. I can't think of a need for it. I've got a 3/8" cordless impact I use constantly. When the cordless won't fit into a tight space I use a 1/4" or 3/8" air ratchet depending on how tight the fastener may be. ... Login to read more.
