I got a "deal" on a used cheap 120v Snap-on mig welder and like you, tried to use it with flux wire. What ugly stuff that is! Better than nothing, but LOTS of spatter. It's better with a gas bottle, but I wish I'd ponied up a coupla hundred bucks more and boug... Login to read more.
