The SO 3/8 gun is nice for running stuff in, but for tightening anything its a joke. The 1/2" however is the cats meow. I got mine a year + ago so it might not be the model you're talking about (Mines 18v). Anyway, I did a F350 flatbed brakejob out in the yard... Login to read more.
